About

Welcome to POLTEVSKAYA.ART.

I paint because I believe a painting can change the feeling of a room, and I hope my work brings joy and inspiration into yours.

Every piece you see here is made by my own hand: unique works, each one a small record of a moment of discovery.

I am Natalia Poltevskaya, a Russian–Portuguese painter born in 1985, and I work between Moscow and Lisbon. The human figure is at the heart of everything I do. Working in acrylic on canvas, I use bold color, symbolic composition and careful figuration to reach for what people feel inside.

My work grows from two places I love: Eastern European modernism and the light of the Mediterranean. My paintings are held in private collections across Europe and the United States. Each one is a unique original, signed by me and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.

My studio is in Sintra, Portugal.

Thank you for visiting. I'm so glad you're here.
